Description
Main function: Diaphragm type automatic water control valve for single interlock preaction fire protection systems with electric actuation. Detection system comprised of heat detectors, smoke detectors, and manual pull stations. Double seat design provides fire alarm actuation. External resetting. Range: 1 1/2 in. (DN40). Service pressure: 20–300 psi (1.4–20.7 bar). Max trim pressure dependent on separately ordered solenoid valve per TFP2180. Process connection: Groove × Groove. Vertical installation. Actuation: Electric detection system (typically 24V DC). Solenoid valve (normally closed, de-energized) P/N 52-287-1-124 provided. Deluge releasing panel with battery back-up. Supervisory air: 10 ± 2 psi. Electrical connection: Solenoid valve typically 24V DC. Releasing panel 120V AC. Certifications: UL, C-UL Listed, FM Approved, LPCB Approved. Housing: Diaphragm type. Internal and external epoxy coating. Materials: Ductile iron ASTM A536-77 Gr. 65-45-12. Diaphragm: Polyester/TEFLON/EPDM. Trim: Galvanized. Options: Americas pressure switches, P/N 52-287-1-124 solenoid valve, psi/kPa gauges, BFV-300 included.
