Description
Main function: Semi-assembled wet pilot actuation trim for DV-5A valve in single interlock preaction fire protection system. Range: For 1 1/2 in. (DN40) and 2 in. (DN50) DV-5A valves. Max trim pressure: 300 psi (20.7 bar). Actuation: Wet pilot line with automatic sprinklers min. K5.6 (80) and MC-1/MC-2 manual control stations. Minimum pilot line: 1/2 in. (DN15) steel pipe. Supervisory air: 10 ± 2 psi. Low pressure alarm switch factory set 5 ± 1 psi. Pressure relief valve set 25 ± 2 psi. Components: MRA-1 manual reset actuator, MC-2 manual control station, AD-3 automatic drain valve, priming supply restriction, pressure relief valve, ball valves, globe valve, check valves, Y-strainer, angle valves, drip funnel, tubing assemblies, fittings, pressure gauges (300 psi/2000 kPa for Americas/APAC; 20 bar/2000 kPa for EMEA), air pressure gauge. Certifications: Part of UL/FM/LPCB listing when used with DV-5A valve. Materials: Galvanized or black malleable iron fittings per ASME B16.3. Schedule 40 pipe nipples per ASTM A53/A135. Brass compression fittings per ASTM B16. Type L copper tubing per ASTM B88. Options: Pressure switches separately ordered. Water pressure gauges for EMEA separately ordered.
