Description

Spring‑loaded full‑lift safety valve with 90° angular flow. Protects vessels against overpressure in saturated steam, gas and liquid service. Designed to ISO 4126‑1:2004 and Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC; EC module D certified by TÜV Rheinland (report number 33530455). ATEX 94/9/CE approved (equipment for potentially explosive atmospheres). Set pressure range depends on seal material: typical 0.2 bar to 30 bar. Seat tightness exceeds EN 12266‑1 requirements. Body materials: cast iron, nodular iron, cast steel, stainless steel (series 14). Self‑centering plug, drain screws for condensate removal, lever positioner for manual operation. Seal options: Silicone rubber (temperature –60 °C to +200 °C, recommended –50 °C to +115 °C), FKM Viton® (–40 °C to +250 °C, recommended –30 °C to +150 °C), PTFE Teflon (–265 °C to +260 °C, recommended –80 °C to +230 °C; metallic seal required above 230 °C). Available backpressure models: EP, AP, CP. Options available on demand: blocking screw for container hydrostatic testing; rapid limiter to reduce discharge coefficient; Viton® membrane and O‑ring to isolate rotating/sliding parts from the process fluid; electrical open/closed position indicator; bellows to protect the spring from atmospheric influences, to seal the valve exterior and to compensate external or self‑generated backpressure; oil‑free and grease‑free execution for oxygen service (UV‑Oxygen‑VBG 62); special springs for critical temperatures.
