Description
Main function: Full bore knife gate valve with a completely free passage, designed for applications where pipes need to be cleaned regularly with pigs. Special scrapers remove deposits from the gate every time it is opened (from DN 200). The transverse seal can be repacked at any time and under full pressure using lateral packing screws. In the closed end position, the gate is mechanically supported. Nominal sizes & Pressure rating (Measuring range N/A for valves): DN 450 – 2000. Pressure rating: DN 450 – 2000: 4 bar; DN 500 – 2000: 2.5 bar; DN 700 – 2000: 1.6 bar. Accuracy (N/A for valves): Leak test acc. to EN 12266-1, leak rate A. Process connection type: Flange drilling options include EN 1092 PN6/PN10/PN16, ANSI B16.5/B16.47 Class 150, BS 10-D, AS 2129-D, JIS B 2220-10K. Face-to-face dimension: EN 558 series 20 / ISO 5752-20. Actuation & Power Supply (Output signal N/A for valves): Operated by electrical actuator 3x400 V, 50 Hz, rising stem, rated for max. 4 bar. Electrical connection: 3x400 V, 50 Hz, 3-phase. Certifications: Leak test acc. to EN 12266-1, leak rate A. Housing construction: Body made of Ductile iron (EN-GJS-400-15) or Stainless steel (1.4408). Topwork made of Carbon steel. Corrosion protection: 2 Comp. Epoxy-Zinc dust Primer, 2 Comp. Epoxy-Resin iron mica intermediate coat, 2 Comp. Polyurethane-Enamel-Top Coat. Materials: Gate: 1.4301 or 1.4404 (hard chromed). Seal: NBR. Stem/Piston rod: 1.4104. Additional options: Special scrapers (from DN 200), repackable transverse seal, other materials upon request. Actuator can be turned 90° or equipped with pendulum bearings for larger sizes.
