Description
Asymmetrical U-cup rod seal with inner sealing lip. Function: Seals reciprocating rod against housing; prevents fluid escape. Installation: Defined by ID (rod dia.) x AD (groove dia.) x L (width). Example: SNI30: 40 x 50 x 9 mm. Pressure: Primary seal subject to full system pressure; secondary seal reduces residual oil film. Dynamics: Hydrodynamic lubrication film ensures low friction. Materials: NBR, TPU, PTFE, hard fabric, fabric NBR. Temperature: Material dependent.
