Rotary joint for transfer of thermal oil. Series DP Standard, variant -800 for thermal oil. One‑way flow, no elbow. Nominal size DN 40. Rotor connection: left‑hand male thread G 1½ (ISO 228). Housing connection: radial G 1½ female thread. Seal combination 3 (metal impregnated synthetic carbon 19W – silicon carbide 18C). Medium: thermal oil. Temperature range –10…160 °C, pressure range 0.2…10 bar, maximum speed 55000/DN ≈1375 min⁻¹. Housing made of brass, bead‑blasted. Rotor made of stainless steel. Two ball bearings, heat‑stabilised for series -800, factory‑lubricated, maintenance‑free up to 80 °C, for higher temperatures relubrication through easily accessible grease point required. Internal balanced mechanical seal. O‑rings Viton®. Additional axial shaft seal for bearing protection. Connection to rotating pressure system via standardized connection piece with sealing and centring face. Radial housing connection. ATEX certification optional. Five drain holes in housing, can be blocked with plugs in dusty environment.
